I’m Josh Bowles, the one behind Bluegrass Design & Print — a family-owned, one-person studio based in Brodhead, Kentucky.
After years of leading technology, marketing, and customer experience projects in community banking, I wanted a creative outlet that let me keep solving problems for local people and small businesses.
What I do
Bluegrass Design & Print blends design, technology, and strategy to help ideas become reality.
I work with individuals, small businesses, and community organizations to create visuals, streamline tech, and build practical solutions that actually make life easier. I focuse on three pillars:
Design — Custom apparel, signage, digital artwork, and print pieces that make a lasting impression.
Tech — Websites, automations, unified communications and smart tools that keep small teams efficient and connected.
Strategy — Consulting, branding, and marketing guidance that turns good ideas into real-world progress.
Why I Built This
Small businesses deserve the same level of creativity and innovation as big brands — without the corporate price tag and overhead. I started Bluegrass Design & Print to bridge that gap: providing approachable, reliable creative and tech help right here in central Kentucky.

I’m Josh Bowles — a husband, dad, and small-town creative from Rockcastle County, Kentucky. After years working in banking and technology, I realized what I loved most wasn’t the systems or the titles — it was helping people solve problems and watching ideas take shape.
Bluegrass Design & Print grew from that same heart. It’s my way to blend design, tech, and strategy into something real and personal — helping families, teams, and small businesses around here look professional, work smarter, and grow with purpose.
At the end of the day, this is just me doing what I love: creating, learning, and building things that make a difference close to home.
